This Malaysian Standard specifies materials and dimensions of thimbles of ordinary reeving or solid types for wire ropes of nominal sizes.
Ordinary thimbles 5/16in.to 2 3/4in.(8mm to 70mm)
Reeving thimbles 5/8in.to 11/2in.(16mm to 38mm)
Solid thimbles 5/16in.to 21/2in.(8mm to 64mm)
